Richard Davies has recently returned to Tri-Direct in the role of Head of Integration. His remit is to co-ordinate the new business effort, audit the agency structure for greater business and communication efficiencies, and seek opportunities for all our clients across the agency's specialisms.
Richard joins us from three years at a digital start-up where he was a member of the senior management team. While there, he established a pure play search marketing division, a bespoke digital conversion marketing unit and a London operation, overseeing a growth in turnover of 500%.
In 2000, Richard joined Zed as Planning and Board Director. In addition to planning responsibilities for clients such as BT, ITV Digital, AA, Masterfoods and MBNA, he was closely involved in the strategic and practical process of both the integration of Zed with Zenith and the merger of Interactive @ Optimedia with Zenith Interactive Solutions.
Before this, he began his advertising career at Tri-Direct, rising to Account Director for Alliance and Leicester and Standard Life Healthcare, managing a media budget of £20 million.
Richard was awarded a degree in Business Studies at Portsmouth University. Outside of work, he supports the fitful efforts of the Welsh Rugby Team and is a fair weather golfer.
